Family and friends, many with backgrounds in healthcare and hospitality, were discussing the realities of aging—Alzheimer’s, memory care, assisted living, and what we would want for our parents or ourselves. The conversation evolved into a vision: a warm, dignified, and specialized community where seniors with Alzheimer’s or dementia could receive the best care possible.That night, Evergreen Cottages was conceived—a Memory Care and Assisted Living community created with heart, science, and deep compassion.

Assisted Living for Active Adults
Designed for seniors needing help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, or medication reminders. Meals, housekeeping, and social events are typically included.

- Executive Directors are nurses working on-site daily
- Weekly Nurse Practitioner visits
- Mobile services: Dentistry, Radiology, Podiatry, Pharmacy
- Access to Home Health, Palliative & Hospice Care
Exceptional Staffing
Our communities are staffed above state minimums:
- 1:4 Caregiver to Resident ratio (state requires 1:8)
- Two awake staff available overnight
- Every caregiver is dementia-trained and heart-centered
When Nursing Homes Are Needed
Residents requiring constant medical supervision, complex medical equipment, or skilled nursing interventions may need a Skilled Nursing Facility instead of an assisted living or memory care setting.
